5th MVA

The fifth MVA was held on 29 May, 2000 at the National Art Gallery, Kuala Lumpur. Lasting throughout the rest of the week, seminars by international and local film, video and animation professionals were conducted together with film screenings and discussions with the directors. There was also a production walk-through exhibition that provided participants with a hands-on experience of the production process. The Award Night was held on 2 June, 2000 at de Lost City (ex-Cathay Cinema), Jalan Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur.
